Chappell Hill
One of the perks of living in the great state of Texas, or as many refer to as the great country of Texas, is the beautiful hillsides immersed in gorgeous wildflowers. The most extraordinary blossom, of course, is the state flower, the bluebonnet. During the spring time, the roadsides along the highways are crowded with cars – the occupants have pulled over in an attempt to take family pictures in beautiful natural settings. The Beltran family had long been anticipating this moment and contacted us earlier in the year, as they too wanted portraits among the wildflowers. Once spring arrived, we (Laura + Jorge) took a short trip to Chappell Hill – a small city located northwest of Houston – to confirm that the bluebonnets were in full bloom. Upon arrival, we were greeted with endless seas of blue sparkles against green backgrounds – we knew it was perfect. After our confirmation, we contacted the Beltran family and they immediately scheduled a shoot. A few weeks later we took the short trip back to Chappell Hill and captured some amazing images of a beautiful family in spectacular scenes, in the beautiful hillsides of our grand state of Texas.
